Preparing for and Caring for Your Skin After a Facial

Before your appointment with our esthetician:

Avoid retinoids, scrubs, acids, and other harsh exfoliating products for 5–7 days before your facial.
Keep your skin well hydrated and drink plenty of water before your appointment.
Let Avery know about any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, medications, or recent aesthetic treatments.
Arrive with a clean face when possible, free of makeup and skincare products.

After Your Facial

Mild redness or flushing may occur and typically resolves within a few hours.
Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily and limit direct sun exposure for 2–3 days.
Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other active products until Avery advises you to resume them.
Follow the personalized aftercare and home skincare recommendations provided by Avery.
Maintain your results with consistent professional skincare and facials approximately every 4–6 weeks, based on your individual skin needs.
